Our Day at Disney

Waiting in lines.... lots of lines!  Ahh, the joys of doing Disney over Spring Break!
The safari was one of our favorite parts of the day....
But Audrey wasn't too impressed.  This was nap #1 during the day!
Aaron and cousin, Zach, on the safari
My sweetie and I with "Everest."  This was my first time back on a roller coaster in a few years.... I have been pregnant at Disney a lot and haven't been able to do the coasters!  I screamed and gripped Isaac's arm the whole time (it was Isaac's first big coaster, too.... I was afraid he was going to fall out!)  Aaron was thrilled that he was able to ride Everest four times this trip thanks to the Fast Passes at Disney!
Isaac and Auntie Debby
Nap #1 for Ellie and Nap #2 of the day for Audrey.  This is what exhausted looks like...
And like this!  We got so many sweet smiles as we strolled through the park with our sweet sleepers.
Our attempt at a family picture with the tree at the Animal Kingdom before we left.  Aaron, Isaac, and Scott were drenched from the Kali River Rapids, and poor Ellie had a temp of 102.3 by this point in the day.  :(  Time to head back to the condo for a little break!
Deb and I took the boys "hopping" to some of the other parks after dinner.  We stopped at Epcot to try out "Soarin'" but the wait was 110 minutes long so we didn't stay.
Next stop, Hollywood Studios for Fantasmic and to try out the Toy Story ride.
The boys LOVED the Toy Story ride and definitely thought that it was worth the wait (well over an hour).  My feet did not agree at 10:20 PM that night.... but their smiles DID make it worth it!
It was a great day!  So thankful for the blessing of fun and family!

Sweet moments....

Baseball season is in full swing around here.  Aaron loves it.  We love cheering for him, through the highs and lows.  Tonight was a fun moment, full of happy momma tears.... Aaron had an awesome hit that led to a HOME RUN!

And the even more amazing moment.... tonight, as I was tucking the boys in and praying with them, Aaron prayed, "Thank you for giving me a good hit and please help me to have a good influence on my team."

We've had PLENTY of less than stellar moments in our home... you know, like the moment when I finally had all of the kiddos loaded into the van a few weeks ago, and sweet Isaac looked into my eyes and said, "Mommy, why are you always so mean to me on Sundays?!"  Sigh.... I am working on that one VERY HARD.  Making a little progress.

But tonight as Aaron prayed, that was a great moment that I will cherish forever.

Our goal is character... NOT home runs...

I love it when we get a little glimpse that we might be on the right track.

Life with a two year old....

I never knew that my life with a two year old could be summed up in two pictures that were taken, literally, less than 10 second apart.

First, I present to you a picture which I have entitled, "High-highs"....

And now, I present to you, "Low-lows"
Oh my goodness, I love our Ellie Lyn. Even when she DOES.NOT.WANT. her picture taken in her adorable new sunglasses!

And as a sidenote, if you have a little one who isn't quite ready to swim without a little help from a floatation device, I HIGHLY recommend a "Puddle Jumper" like Ellie is wearing. It is really awesome (and no, they didn't pay me to say that!) :)

Clearwater Beach

Sharing some joy from our trip to Florida. We spent a little bit of time at Clearwater Beach, Florida a few weeks back. Yep, the boys loved it....

Uh oh! The very moment that Isaac tasted salt water for the first time. His face says it all....

We weren't at the beach long that day, but wow, it was worth the trip!
