1!

What a difference one year makes!  On May 16, 2011, we were blessed beyond measure with the safe birth of our fourth child and our second daughter, Audrey Leigh.  She is such a sweetheart, and we are beyond grateful to have the privilege of raising her.  Happy Birthday, sweet baby girl!

Just some sentences....

At one of Aaron's games this week, he was playing first base and had a run-down with one of the base runners.  He ended up tagging the kiddo out which was really, really cool (it's so neat to see 9 year olds figuring out the fundamentals of the game).... but what was even more cool was when the base runner stumbled and fell when he was tagged, Aaron immediately checked on him to make sure that he was okay.  I love it when we get a glimpse of goodness.

This morning, when I went up to get Ellie out of her crib, she had been crying for a bit, and her nose was runny.  She declared, "Mommy, my nose leaked!" (diapers leak, so I guess that noses can leak, too??)

I am a sentimental momma right now as we fly towards Audrey's first birthday (seriously, she is going to be ONE already!)  This was never more evident to me than when I was standing in line at Panera the other day.... I saw a sweet pregnant woman.... and yes, I started to cry as I thought about that season of my life being over.  Sniff.  Sniff.

Last weekend, the girls and I went to a few garage sales.  I found a new bike helmet for Ellie (and yes, it just happened to have Barbie on it).  On the way home, Ellie kept saying, "I got a Barbie helmet!" which is not significant EXCEPT that I have NO idea how she knows who Barbie is??  That scared me a little bit!  REALLY.... I have NO, NO, NO idea how she knows that!

At 6:47 AM one morning, I was reading in my room, and Isaac walked in and said with excitement, "I SLEPT IN!"  Seriously???  6:47 AM???
