Another sweet part of summer...

Sigh.  I love our days at the lake.  Our kids are all smiles when they are on the water.... especially when it involves giggling with their Daddy.  Just a few moments that we were able to capture with the camera....

Thankful Thursday

Yes, I am still a blogger.... I've just been on a bit of a hiatus. 

But I'm still thankful.  Today, I am thankful....

1) For a God who loves us through the ups and the downs of life.  While I don't understand the pain that is a part of this world, and I truly long to lift the pain of so many of those who are hurting around me, I do know that pain points us to a loving God who has a hope and a future for each of us.... who somehow works things together for good. 
2) On a much lighter note.... for an air conditioner that is working properly after an $84 repair earlier in the summer.
3) For my hubby's great job that allowed us to pay for that $84 repair.
4) That our church is involved in so many awesome camps.  Aaron leaves on Sunday and can't wait!
5) That God has used Scott in many ways in many camp settings this summer.  He was able to spend time during four weeks at Epworth Forest and one week at Camp Adventure this summer.

I hope that you have a blessed day.... and that you can see God in the midst of it.
